Great variety of items! Definitely my go to Asian market in the city. A lot of items are reasonably priced as well in comparison to others. They also have a point system now!

Great variety of Asian groceries, excellent produce (easily best in town) and a wide and superb selection of beer, wine, and liquor. By far the best beer and liquor on the Westbank. They also have lots of home goods like dishes and kitchen implements , cleaning and paper goods, middle eastern foods, Hispanic foods, meat and fish, and an area that makes fresh sandwiches and some fresh but packaged foods/meals. Really awesome, and stayed opened after Hurricane Ida too, which was a life saver. Truly a gem and an awesome resource. Very grateful to have such an awesome place available.

If you love cooking, trying new flavors, or just wandering through a grocery store packed with cool stuff, Hong Kong Market on the Westbank is a must-visit. This place is massive, and whether you're looking for fresh seafood, exotic produce, or your favorite Asian snacks, they’ve got it all.Walking in, you're immediately hit with the smell of fresh herbs and roasted meats—it’s the kind of place that makes you want to cook something amazing. The produce section is stocked with all sorts of goodies you don’t always see in regular grocery stores—dragon fruit, Thai basil, fresh lychees, giant stalks of lemongrass—it’s a dream if you love experimenting in the kitchen. The seafood section is wild, with live crabs, fresh fish, and even whole lobsters, all at great prices. One of my favorite parts? The deli counter and bakery near the front. They’ve got crispy roast duck, BBQ pork, fresh-baked banh mi loaves, and even Vietnamese desserts. If you’re hungry while shopping, grab some spring rolls or a pastry—you won’t regret it.The aisles are packed with noodles, sauces, and spices from all over Asia, plus a snack section that’ll make any junk food lover happy—think Japanese mochi, Korean spicy chips, and every Pocky flavor imaginable. It gets busy, especially on weekends, but that just adds to the energy. Whether you’re here for specific ingredients or just exploring, Hong Kong Market is one of the best grocery spots in New Orleans. Definitely worth the trip!
